2011年の夏、東京わにデパートが最初に籐で制作したのが、全長３メートルのカタツムリ ”ダイマイマイ”。
『月刊』の第一回目は、「最初に立ち返る」という意味を込めて、このモチーフになりました。
2011 summer,Tokyo wani departmentstore produced the big snail (which was 3 meters in total length) by wicker.It was the first wicker experience for us. So we chose this theme to get back our first time,on this "Monthly special vol.1".
